A set like this should last at least 3-4 years, get this if you’re thinking more long term.

3.  Little Tikes Endless Adventures Playcenter Playground

If you really want to go all out, you may consider getting this very large setup for $1199.99 at Toys-R-Us.  This one is recommended for children aged 4-10.  It comes with 2 swings, a 2 person glider, a 4 foot high platform with an enclosed fort, a built in sandbox, climbing net and a wavy slide.

This playground is made out of plastic, is easy to assemble, fun, sturdy and water resistant.  This has many different things to keep your child or children occupied and will last them for many years.
